"Summer Blast Cruise In and Guitar Hero Competition/h3>

Join us for our 1st annual "Summer Blast" Cruise In and Guitar Hero Competition. Starting at 9:00 am and going til 4:00 pm, we will be celebrating the National Road Festival in Greenville, IL. The first 100 cars to register will recieve a free "Summer Blast T-shirt and dash plaque.
WDLJ 97.5 FM will spend the day with us as our DJ surrounding us with their Classic Rock.
At 10:00 am the epic Guitar Hero Competition will begin at the Globe Theater on 3rd St on the squre. A registration fee of $20.00 will be required and a limit of 32 contestants will be registered. $100.00 cash prize, 4 passes to Holiday World/Splashin Safari, Guitar Hero T-shirts, 2 Globe Theater Movie Passes, and Prize bag for the winner! Second Third and Fourth Prizes are also awarded. There will be 10 runner up players in each bracket allowed in case of no-shows. If you do not show up for the competition, your money will NOT be refunded.
To register for the Guitar Hero Competition, call Liz Kious at 618-664-9196, or email sweetestthings@bcglobal.net. You will be mailed the registration form at that time. Submit your registration form with the $20.00 fee. The first 16 forms recieved for each bracket will be the contestants. Any registrations received after brackets are full will be placed on a stand by list consisting of 10 contestants in each bracket. Contestants are expected to be familiar with the rules and guidelines of the competition BEFORE the event begins.
Other competitions through out the day will be the Hula Hoop Competition, Street Bowling, and a Scavenger Hunt through the downtown businesses. Old School Smokers Barbeque will be on the square providing food, along with our own local pizza, pastries, and great snacks.
